INFORMATION + GUIDELINES  

CONDITIONS OF OCCUPANCY + ENTRY

ARRIVAL + DEPARTURE 

Normal check out time is 10am and check-in time is 11am. We are flexible so please check  with management to help accommodate your travel needs.

SITES + VEHICLES

Maximum of 4 people per site. 1 vehicle is permitted per site. All other vehicles to park in the Guest Parking Area.

​

 

RUBBISH + RECYCLING

Guests are encouraged to separate their rubbish. General waste bins are for land fill items only. Recyclable items to be separated are glass, plastic bottles and containers, aluminium cans, newspapers and cardboard and they should be placed in the appropriately marked bins or areas. Honoring our environment is important to Imbil Camping Retreat.

Bins are for general waste only. Large items such as gazebos, tents, camp furniture and gas bottles are not permitted in bins and are not to be dumped outside the bin. 

 

 

CAMP KITCHEN

Open 7am to 10pm

Noise should be kept at a respectable level when used in the evenings. Please clean BBQ’s after each use. If attention is needed please inform the office.

FIRES + FIREPITS

Only permitted in an off the ground container (that is a minimum of 30cm above the ground). Fire pits are available for hire. Please see reception for guidance.

​

 

AMENITIES

Open 24 hours except cleaning times. If attention is needed please inform the office. Fish are not to be cleaned in the amenities. Children should be supervised when using the amenities.

​

 

LAUNDRY

Washing machines are available for use at a cost. The machines and clothes lines are located on the eastern side of the laundry.

​

 

DRIVING IN PARK

SPEED LIMIT is 10kph.
The entire park is a shared zone and pedestrians have right of way at all times. Children move quickly and are unpredictable so please drive slowly. Remember 10kph means 10kph.

VEHICLES

1 vehicle is permitted per site. Please contact the office for further details as required.

 

​

SWIMMING

Swimming safely is permitted in Yabba Creek. Jumping, swimming or entering the water from any adjacent property is strictly prohibited due to the danger of submerged logs, rocks and other hazards. If guests jump, swing or enter the water from these prohibited areas, they may be asked to leave the Retreat.

NEIGHBORING PROPERTY

Park guests are advised that entering the private property across the creek and adjoining Imbil Camping Retreat is not permitted. Guests identified to be breaking this rule will be asked to leave the Retreat immediately.

​

​

BOATS

Boats may be able to be stored onsite, please ensure you check with management prior to booking.

 

​

SECURITY

Keep all belongings secure and vehicles locked.

​

​

VISITORS

Day visitors of park guests are welcome and should check in to the office before proceeding into the park. Guests are responsible for their visitors. Visitors are charged $5.00 per person, and must vacate the park by 10pm.

​

​

PETS

Imbil Camping Retreat is pet friendly. Pet owners agree to take full responsibility for any personal  injury or damage

caused by their pet whilst within the confines of the park, and agree to pay for any  claims or compensation in relation to the pet’s activities. Pets are to be kept on a lead at all times. Pet waste is to be picked up and disposed of promptly. Pets cannot be left at the park without their owner.

LOCAL INFORMATION

See office staff for assistance with local points of interest, walks and bike tracks.

​

NOISE

Please respect our 10pm noise curfew. Keep noise at a respectable level at all times throughout the day, and quiet time is after 10pm.

​

​

CARAVANS / MOTORHOMES / CAMPERVANS

Electricity leads connected to our power outlets must be 15amp. Use of double adapters to connect power is strictly prohibited. Grey water must be collected and emptied into the designated dump point.
 

​

CANCELLATION POLICY

A $30 Cancellation/Administration Fee will apply if you cancel your Reservation within 14 days prior to arrival.  Any monies held will be placed back onto your Client Account for a future stay. This includes all types of cancellations including inclement weather.

A 100% Cancellation Fee will apply if your Reservation is cancelled on the day of arrival or ‘no show’.

During Peak Periods (Christmas, Easter, School Holidays, long weekends etc.), no changes to booking dates nor refunds will occur if made within 14 days prior to your arrival.

If you are asked to leave the Retreat due to unacceptable behaviour, no refunds nor credits will be provided.  
If an extreme weather event occurs (i.e. flooding, bushfire etc.), and you are instructed to evacuate your campsite and the Retreat by the Retreat Managers (or we have to cancel your stay), any monies will be placed back onto your Client Account for the total of the cancelled days for a future stay. No refunds can be provided.   

Any refunds allocated back to a Client Account have a 12-month Expiry date from the date of cancellation/entry.

SHORTENED STAYS

No refunds or credits will be given for early departure.

 

LONG STAYS

Imbil Camping Retreat does not offer ‘long stays’ for our guests. Guests are only permitted to stay for 14 days

maximum within a 6 week period.

GENERATORS

Permitted for the recharging of batteries between the hours of 8am to 10am, and 4pm to 6pm. 

​

​

FALLING TREE LIMBS

Be aware that tree limbs can fall, management of ICR take no responsibility for damage or injury caused by falling tree limbs. Camping is at your risk.

​

​

OPEN CAMPING

Our un-powered sites are not able to be reserved and are not or defined. However, each site has a virtual boundary depending on location in the park and availability. Please use common sense and be respectful to other guests when choosing your site. If you require assistance when choosing you campsite, please contact the office.

AGE OF CAMPERS
Campers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their stay.

​

​

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION AND DISORDERLY BEHAVIOUR
A zero-tolerance policy applies for drunken, illicit drug use, disorderly, abusive or aggressive behaviour. The local authorities may be contacted in the event these behaviours are witnessed at ICR.

All laws and regulations relating to alcohol and drug consumption apply. An express note is made of the following points within these laws:​

  • .05 breath test if operating a motor vehicle on the premises

  • Drunk and disorderly

  • Drinking age of 18 years +

  • Sale in any form without a license is prohibited, 

  • Consumption of alcohol by minors is prohibited,

  • Consumption of illicit drugs is prohibited.

Management reserve the right to ask any person that breach these points of law to leave the premises or be collected from the premises immediately.
